DVDFab HD Decrypter is a simple version of DVDFab DVD Copy and DVDFab Blu-ray Copy which can remove all the DVD protections, part of Blu-ray protections, and copy the DVD/Blu-ray to your hard drive. It is one of the always free portions of DVDFab application. The copy speed is very fast, the quality very good, and with various settings and options for your editing the effect is terrific.

It’s not uncommon for discs to get scratched and become useless. Nowadays almost every movie is in a digital format so why not keep the original discs? This is where DVDFab HD Decrypter comes in handy, a free application that helps users in the creation of backups for DVD and Blu-Ray movies to the hard drive. It includes different backup options and automatic compression to fit large movies in normal DVDs (4.7GB).
It’s free and it is practically the same as DVDFab Copy but with fewer options. Though a free application, users are allowed to remove warnings, plus choose the files of the movie to copy. On the downside, it only copies to the hard drive and not directly to a DVD/Blu-Ray, there is no chapter selection, and it automatically compresses a DVD.
Otherwise it’s perfect, for it is capable of removing any protection to copy the movie.
It has 2 different copy modes: Copy either the full disc or main movie. With full disc mode, users cannot remove any chapters or audio & copies as is. With main movie mode users will eliminate annoying warnings and extra features or games, thus improving the quality. The program can remove protections such as CSS, UOPs, ARccOS, Macrovision, as well as Blu-Ray’s AACS, BD, etc.
A New feature of this version allows copying a movie from one format to the other. For instance convert: a DVD to Mobile (H.264/mpeg4), or a Blu-Ray to Mobile. In addition to these changes, the engine was redesigned and improved to deliver faster Blu-Ray copying speeds, also a "Preview" was added to check the picture output while copying.
Definitively a great choice. When tested, no problems were found and every movie was backed up to the hard drive. |
